概念
- 骨髄で分化に異常をきたした白血球系の腫瘍性増殖により、末梢血に幼弱な細胞(未分化な細胞)が出現する病態である。このため、末梢血で幼弱な白血球と成熟した白血球のみしか観察されない(白血球裂孔)。骨髄では病的な白血球の増加により赤血球系、巨核球系の血球の増殖が抑制される。このような急性白血病の病態の中で、MPO染色において(leukemic blastの)3%以上が陽性の場合に急性骨髄性白血病と呼ばれる。
