Integrin alpha-IIb is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ITGA2B gene.

ITGA2B, also known as CD41, encodes integrin alpha chain 2b. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. Alpha chain 2b undergoes post-translational cleavage to yield disulfide-linked light and heavy chains that join with beta 3 to form a fibrinogen receptor expressed in platelets that plays a crucial role in coagulation. Mutations that interfere with this role result in thrombasthenia. In addition to adhesion, integrins are known to participate in cell-surface mediated signalling.

Interactions

ITGA2B has been shown to interact with AUP1 and CLNS1A.

概念

• 骨髄で分化に異常をきたした白血球系の腫瘍性増殖により、末梢血に幼弱な細胞(未分化な細胞)が出現する病態である。このため、末梢血で幼弱な白血球と成熟した白血球のみしか観察されない(白血球裂孔)。骨髄では病的な白血球の増加により赤血球系、巨核球系の血球の増殖が抑制される。このような急性白血病の病態の中で、MPO染色において(leukemic blastの)3%以上が陽性の場合に急性骨髄性白血病と呼ばれる。

血小板減少による症状

• 5-10万　：症状なし-やや止血しにくい程度
• 2-3万　 ：下肢に点状出血 (→皮下出血)
• 1万以下 ：粘膜出血→臓器出血の危険あり

検査

• 抗凝固剤としてEDTAを用いた場合、EDTA依存性偽血小板減少をきたすことがある。
