An aortopulmonary septal defect is a group of rare congenital heart disorders that result from errors in the development of the aorticopulmonary septum.
There are numerous types.[1] Types include:
- persistent truncus arteriosus[2]
- double outlet right ventricle
- transposition of the great vessels
- tetralogy of Fallot
