神経頭蓋の著しい拡大, 両側眼球の下方転移, 頭蓋骨の閉鎖不全などが認められたパグ犬 (雄, 48日齢, 体重1.1kg) に対し, 脳室造影, 頭部超音波検査などを行い, 内水頭症と診断した. 脳室腹腔 (V-P) シャント術を実施したところ良好に経過していたが, 術後7.5ヵ月に突然死した.
