Möbius sign is a clinical sign in which there is an inability to maintain convergence of the eyes. It is found in patients with Graves' disease.[1]
The sign is named after Paul Julius Möbius.

概念
- 眼球突出、眼球運動障害、眼瞼浮腫、結膜充血、視神経障害などの眼病変がバセドウ病患者にみられることをいう。
病態生理
- 眼窩内組織(外眼筋、球後結合組織)にTSH受容体を介する自己免疫機序を開始、外眼筋肥厚、脂肪組織増生、涙腺肥大を生じ、結果として眼窩内圧が上昇する。これにより眼球突出をきたす。
症状
