概念
- 暗緑色の色素であるインドシアニングリーンを用いた肝機能検査の一つであり、肝の異物排泄機能検査である。
- 色素の血中消失率(fractional disappearance rate)と血中停滞率(retention rate)(15分停滞率, R15)を算出する。
- 肝血流と肝細胞の色素摂取機能を反映し、肝硬変の診断や肝予備能の評価などに用いられる。
- 肝血流 : 肝細胞ICG摂取能力: ICGの胆汁への排泄能力 = 3 : 1 : 1 (QB.B-268)
- 肝外排泄がほとんどなく、肝臓の初回通過効果が大きいので、R15、KICGは有効肝血流量の良い指標となる
- 肝硬変の診断や肝予備能の評価などに用いられ、肝切除術の術前検査としては必須である。
- BSPと比べて、色素の肝外処理の比率、測定誤差、副作用が少ないなどの利点を有する(LAB.LAB.1357)

- ICGの90%以上が肝細胞に摂取され、抱合などの代謝を受けずに胆汁中へ排泄される。
