• グラム陰性桿菌
• シュードモナス属
• 好気性
• オキシダーゼ試験陽性
• グルコース非発酵
• 無芽胞
• 運動性あり

• 院内感染症
• 健常人には病原性は低い

• 院内肺炎、人工呼吸器関連肺炎で最も問題になる。ピペラシリン、セフタジジム、セフェピム、キノロン、アミノグリコシド、カルバペネム全てに体制になる可能性があり、唯一、ポリミキシンBやコリスチンのみ感受性ということが起きている。(IRE.513)

治療

• ペニシリン系抗菌薬：ピペラシリン・タゾバクタム、ピペラシリン(単剤で闘うことは無いけど)
• セフェム系抗菌薬：セフェピム、セフタジジム
• カルバペネム系抗菌薬：メロペネム、イミペネム
• ニューキノロン系抗菌薬：シプロフロキサシン、レボフロキサシン
• アミノ配糖体系：ゲンタマイシン、トブラマイシン、アミカシン
