- マクロファージより貪食能が高い
- 非特異的感染防御に関与
- 寿命:1週間。(他の資料:1週間以内。血中で6-7時間,活性化時1-2日。)
- 好中球比率(対白血球):50-60%。文献によっては50-70%
- ケモカインによって走化能を示し、異物を貪食する
- 貪食→食胞形成→proteolysis (lysosome: 約30種類)
