- 成熟卵胞で見られる卵胞顆粒細胞層(sgr）と卵胞膜細胞層（ti、tf）です。卵胞膜細胞は内卵胞膜細胞(ti）と外卵胞膜細胞(tf）に分かれています。外卵胞膜細胞の外側は卵巣支質で線維芽細胞の多い結合組織(str）です。
- 卵巣の卵胞をつつむ結合組織の層。外莢膜と内莢膜とからなり，内莢膜は黄体の形成に関与し，発情ホルモンを分泌する。
