概念

• 脳血管障害により突然、局所神経症状(片麻痺、失語症)を呈し、24時間以内(通常10-20分以内)に消失する病態

• 後遺症は残さない

• 10-20%の例では脳梗塞に移行する

病因

以下の2つについては教科書に記載がある。

• 微小塞栓によるTIA
• 脳血管不全によるTIA

• 異常なし

• (DWIで？)かなりの頻度で小梗塞が認められることが明らかにされている(IMD)
