定義
- 基本調律の収縮に先行して、中枢以外の部位が起源となった収縮。この場合、中枢とは洞房結節を指す。
分類
- 期外収縮により脈が抜ける → 間をおいた後の脈波強く打つ
- 期外収縮が脈に間挿される → 間入性心室期外収縮 interpolated extrasystole
機序
- リエントリー
- 異所性自発能亢進
- 誘発活動(triggered activity
病態
- 健常人に発生するもの → 予後は良好
- 器質性心疾患に合併 → 治療が必要

連結期の長さによる分類
- 連結期が一定 → 固定連結期 多い
- 連結期が不定 → 多原性あるいは副調律の可能性
期外収縮の挿入による基本調律の延長の有無による分類
- 期外収縮の挿入により基本調律の間隔が長くなること → 代償休止 (非房室伝導性PAC(blocked PAC)や完全代償休止期を伴う非陥入性PVCではRR間隔が長くなる
- 完全代償休止 :基本調律収縮間隔の2倍
- 不完全代償休止:基本調律収縮間隔の2倍より短い
