- 症例は60代女性.C型肝硬変に対して生体肝移植,脾臓摘出術を施行.C型肝炎再発に対するインターフェロン療法中に発熱,下痢,嘔気が出現,ショックとなり脾摘後劇症型感染症と診断されたが,集中治療により救命した.脾摘後劇症型感染症は生命予後が不良であり,救命率の改善には予防の徹底,症状が軽度の段階から劇症化する可能性があることを念頭において,きわめて迅速に治療を開始することが必要である.
