The median sacral vein (or middle sacral veins) accompanies the corresponding artery along the front of the sacrum, and joins to form a single vein, which ends in the left common iliac vein; sometimes in the angle of junction of the two iliac veins.

Angioarchitecture of Filum Terminale Arteriovenous Fistulas: Relationship with a Tethered Spinal Cord.
Takai K, Komori T, Taniguchi M.
World neurosurgery. 2019 Feb;122()e795-e804.
Spinal arteriovenous fistulas at the filum terminale (filum AVFs) are rare. Treatment strategies have not yet been established, particularly for cases of filum AVF with lipoma. We report 7 cases of filum AVF with (n = 3) or without (n = 4) a tethered spinal cord by sacral terminal lipoma, with a f
Timing, severity of deficits, and clinical improvement after surgery for spinal dural arteriovenous fistulas.
Safaee MM, Clark AJ, Burkhardt JK, Winkler EA, Lawton MT.
Journal of neurosurgery. Spine. 2018 07;29(1)85-91.
OBJECTIVE Spinal dural arteriovenous fistulas (dAVFs) are rare vascular abnormalities caused by arteriovenous shunting. They often form at the dural root sleeve between a radicular feeding artery and draining medullary vein causing venous congestion and edema, decreased perfusion, and ischemia of th
