- Bisphosphonates are usually the first choice for osteoporosis treatment. These include: Alendronate (Fosamax), a weekly pill. Risedronate (Actonel), a weekly or monthly pill. Ibandronate (Boniva), a monthly pill or quarterly intravenous (IV) infusion. Zoledronic acid (Reclast), an annual IV infusion.

選び方
- 標準的な骨粗鬆症の治療薬
- 抜歯など歯科治療を行う場合にはあらかじめ内服を中止することが必要。腎機能障害がある場合使用は勧められない。粘膜障害を起こす場合がある。
- 内服(毎日、毎週、毎月)、点滴(年1回,腎不全,インフルエンザ様反応)、注射(月1回)
- 消化器症状でビスホスホネートが使えない場合に推奨される。
- 抜歯など歯科治療を行う場合にはあらかじめ内服を中止することが必要。腎機能障害がある場合使用は勧められない。
- 皮下注射(半年に1回)＋チュアブル錠(2錠、毎日)
- 最も効果が高い。
- 最も高価。自己注射できないといけない。
- 皮下注射(毎日)
- 脂質異常症、動脈硬化、乳がん各種予防効果あり。
- 骨粗鬆症の予防効果は劣る。ADLが低い人には推奨されない(DVTリスクあり)。
