- 糸球体にびまん性に無構造のヒアリン物質(アミロイド)が蓄積する。
- アミロイドは結節性に蓄積していく → メサンギウム領域に沈着していくので糖尿病性腎症の場合と同様に結節状に見える？？？
- 典型的には最初にメサンギウム領域、ついで糸球体係蹄に蓄積する。
- 最後には糸球体の管腔が狭窄し、閉塞してしまう。
- アミロイドによる結節性病変？は糖尿病腎症のキンメルスティール・ウィルソン病変と違って無構造であるが、光学顕微鏡だけでは診断できない。
