- 壁ストレス(σ)=心室内圧力(P)x心室径(r)/(2x壁厚(h))
- Pは収縮期血圧 ← ASや高血圧で↑
- rは心室径 ← AR, MRで↑、硝酸薬で↓
- hは壁厚 ← 壁が厚ければ力が分散するため。ASとか高血圧で壁が肥厚するから、O2の需要は減少する。最も、収縮期血圧が高くなるので、ちょうどO2の需要の増加と相殺されますが。

- pressure rate product PRP = double product = 心拍数 x 収縮期血圧
- systolic pressure time index SPTI = 収縮期血圧 x 収縮期時間
