変形奇形を示す韓国在来雄牛を肉眼的に精査した.本牛は,仙骨,尾椎を含む第5腰椎以下の後位脊柱が欠損していた.脊髄は第3腰椎椎孔で終了していた.頚椎は側弯を呈し,第3,4頚椎は癒合していた.第2,3腰椎は癒合し,第4腰椎左右横突起は腸骨翼と関節していた.直腸は鎖肛によって著しく拡張し,直腸-尿道間に瘻管を形成していた.本報は韓国在来牛で確認された仙尾無形成症の最初の報告である.
