症状

• 変動する黄疸

• 乳頭部を閉塞するために比較的早期に黄疸が出現する。このためにリンパ節、肝転移は少なく予後が良好。
• 変動するのが特徴的で、胆管癌や膵頭部癌のように進行性ではない　→　合併する胆管炎の炎症の消長に影響されることによる、あるいは乳頭部の組織崩壊による

検査

• 上部消化管内視鏡：十二指腸乳頭部に発赤、腫大、隆起病変(腫瘤)、潰瘍が認められる。
• 緊張性十二指腸造影法
• 磁気共鳴胆管膵管像(MRCP)：閉塞部より上流の胆管の拡張
• 血管造影

治療

• 膵頭十二指腸切除術　＋　リンパ節郭清

予後

• 膵癌・胆道癌の中では比較的予後良好。十二指腸乳頭部癌＞胆管癌＞膵頭部癌＞膵体尾部癌
