- 類骨の石灰化が障害されることが原因により発症する病態。
- 全骨量(骨+類骨)は変わらないが、類骨のみ増加する。
病因

- I型：ビタミンDの活性化障害(1α水酸化酵素の異常、血中1,25(OH2)D3↓)
- II型：ビタミンD受容体の異常(血中1,25(OH2)D3↑)。ビタミンD不応症
- 胃 ：胃切除後骨軟化症(Billroth II法による胃切除)
- 小腸 ：吸収不良症候群、小腸切除、セリアック病、などVDの吸収不良を生じる病態
- 肝胆膵：慢性の胆道閉塞 ← たしかVDの吸収を助ける胆汁の不足による
- 抗てんかん薬
- 慢性腎不全
- 低リン血症性ビタミンD抵抗性くる病
- 近位型尿細管アシドーシス(ファンコニ症候群)
病態
- ビタミンD作用が低下し、血清リン低下。Ca･P積は低下。
- 骨石灰化の異常、X線写真上の骨端の異常は橈骨・尺骨遠位端、大腿骨遠位端、脛骨近位端、脛骨遠位端、腓骨遠位端に認められる。
