塩酸コルホルシンダロパートはフォルスコリンの水溶性の誘導体で，cAMPを合成するアデニル酸シクラーゼ活性を直接刺激することで強心作用を示す。本薬剤0.25─0.5μg/kg/minの長時間投与効果を確認したわれわれの成績では，血圧はほとんど変化させず，心拍数はやや増加傾向，CIと1回拍出量は増加を示し，PCWPはPDEIII阻害薬ほどではないが確実に低下させている。
