The brachioradialis reflex (also known as supinator reflex [1])is observed during a neurological exam by striking the brachioradialis tendon (at its insertion at the base of the wrist into the radial styloid process (radial side of wrist around 4 inches proximal to base of thumb)) directly with a reflex hammer when the patient's arm is relaxing. This reflex is carried by the radial nerve (spinal level: C6, C7)
The reflex should cause slight wrist extension and/or radial deviation, supination[1] and slight elbow flexion.

- IntroductionNeurological conditions can be influenced by meteorological parameters. Some may predict weather changes, such as migraines [Marrelli 1988], burning mouth syndrome [Hirsch 2017], phantosmia [Hirsch 2013], and Bell's Palsy [Danielides 2001]. However, climatic conditions inducing headaches

- A spastic limb refers to one with increased tone. This commonly results from an upper motor neuron injury, which, in turn, leads to disinhibition of reflex arcs. At the level of the elbow, affected individuals typically exhibit a flexion posture secondary to spastic contracture of the biceps, brachi
