Cefminox (INN) is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic.[1][2]
Spectrum of Bacterial Susceptibility and Resistance[edit]
Fusobacterium necrophorum are generally susceptible to Cefminox, while Actinomyces spp, Bacteroides vulgatus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are resistant to Cefminox. Clostridium sordellii, Porphyromonas asaccharolytica and Prevotella oralis have developed resistance to Cefminox to varying degrees.For the detailed minimum inhibition concentration information, please refer to Cefminox Susceptibility and Resistance Data sheet.[3]
