症例は37歳の女性．肥満症に対し薬局で購入した防風通聖散を約1カ月間服用していた．服用開始から約2カ月後に黄疸を主訴に来院し，肝機能異常を認め入院となった．肝生検では門脈域と小葉内に炎症細胞浸潤を認めたが線維化は乏しく急性肝炎と診断した．防風通聖散についてリンパ球刺激試験は陽性であり，成分別ではトウキ，センキュウ，ハッカが陽性であった．DDW-J2004のスコアリングにより薬物性肝障害と診断した．
