- 子宮頚部扁平上皮癌から精製された蛋白質
- 早期癌でも比較的高い陽性率を示し、経過観察にも有用である。
- 一般に扁平上皮の存在する部位に広範な重症疾患存在すれば血中のSCCは上昇しうる
- 皮膚表面、唾液中に大量に存在し、採血時に複数回穿刺する事などによるコンタミネーションの可能性がある。
