Ritchie articular index
- The Ritchie articular index , which has been widely used in the UK, is an example of a tender joint score. Fifty-two peripheral joints or joint areas are graded on a 4 point scale for tenderness. There seems to be no advantage conferred by examining large numbers of joints.
