An eicosanoid receptor is an integral membrane protein that detects the presence of eicosanoid signaling molecules. Most, though not all, are G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). An example of a non-GPCR receptor that binds eicosanoids is PPAR-γ.[1]
The following is a list of the known human eicosanoid GPCRs grouped according to the type of eicosanoid ligand that each binds:[2][3]
