1歳,雌のネコが起立不能になったためMRI検査を行ったところ側脳室,第3脳室および第4脳室の拡大,中脳水道閉塞,脊髄空洞症がみられ,脊髄空洞症を伴う隔雄性第4脳室症と診断された.本症例はFIP抗体検査で3,200倍であった.本症例は死亡したため剖検が行われ,病理組織学的に非化膿性脳脊髄炎と診断された.本症例はFIPに関連しで発症したことが推測された.獣医界では,我々の知る限り本疾患の報告はない.
