概要
2005年10月結成。10月22日に初ライヴを行う[1]。蜜、聖、ゆいな、はちの4人に大正谷 隆（ex.Plastic Tree）をゲストドラムとして迎え[2]、アンティークなおもちゃ箱をイメージした童話の様な世界観をコンセプトに活動開始[3]。同年11月からDollyのライヴに参加していた亜樹が2006年2月に正式加入する[4]。
2008年11月2日、赤坂BLITZで行われた『Dolly 3rd anniversary 単独公演「HeavenwArd」』でメジャーデビューを発表[5]。
2009年2月4日、サウンドプロデューサーにhide with Spread BeaverのキーボーディストDIEを迎え、シングル「時の列車」でメジャーデビュー[2][6]。『Dolly単独公演ツアー「トワイライトレールウェイ」』ツアーファイナルの5月10日、日本青年館で初のホール公演を開催する[2][5]。同年11月5日の単独公演を以てゆいな脱退。
2010年3月、アメリカテキサス州オースティンで開催されたSXSW（サウス・バイ・サウスウエスト）のジャパンナイトにヴィジュアル系アーティストとして初めて出演を果たす[7]。
2012年4月27日、公式サイト上にて年内での活動休止を発表[8]。12月21日にShibuya O-EASTで行われた『最終公演「夢の最果て」』で活動休止[2]。
その後、蜜とゆいなはDOPPEL、聖はソロとして活動開始。
