生物的特徴
- グラム陰性桿菌
- パスツレラ科ヘモフィルス属
- 莢膜を有し、血清型はb型である。
- 発育因子として、X因子(プロトポルフィリンIX or プロトヘム) and/or V因子(NAD or NADP)が必要
- 病原因子は莢膜(抗貪食作用)とIgAプロテアーゼ(IgAを分解)が特徴的である。
- PBPの変異による耐性菌(BLNAR, β-lactamase negative ampicillin-resistant Haemophilus)が出現している
