Treatment[edit]
This requires drainage, best performed by nephrostomy.
Causes[edit]
Pyonephrosis is sometimes a complication of renal stones, which can be a source of persisting infection. It may also occur spontaneously. It can occur as a complication of Hydronephrosis or Pyelonephritis.
