- テトラクロロエチレン、トリクロロエチレン(Cl2C=CCl2)
- 気道や経口で吸収される。
- 急性中毒は中枢神経系、肝臓、肺、および皮膚に影響を及びす。高濃度暴露による麻酔作用で意識消失する場合がある。また肺水腫や肝硬変を生じることがある。やや低濃度(100-1060ppm)では頭痛、めまい、眠気などの中枢神経抑制作用や目・鼻・呼吸器の粘膜に対する刺激作用を有する。脱脂作用により皮膚への刺激性を有する。
- 慢性中毒は両手のしびれ、激しい頭痛、言語障害、頭痛・睡眠障害、脳室拡大、ALT上昇、黄疸、肝腫大、肝細胞壊死、咳嗽・呼吸困難gが見られうる。
- 中毒症状はトリクロロエチレン中毒とほぼ同じ。毒性はトリクロロエチレンより低いとされている。
