Kyrle disease or hyperkeratosis follicularis et parafollicularis in cutem penetrans was first described in J. Kyrle in 1916, characterized by numerous up to cherry-sized hyperkeratotic, verrucous, clefted papules and nodules involving almost the entire skin.[1][2]
