症例は64歳男性．食道の粘膜下腫瘍様の隆起性病変で，2007年9月より経過観察されていた．2010年1月より嚥下困難が出現し，内視鏡検査で同病変の0-I型への形態変化を認めた．生検で腺様嚢胞癌と診断され，食道亜全摘術が施行された．切除標本では，嚢胞様構造を認め，内腔にAlcian blue陽性の粘液様物質を認めた．免疫染色ではαSMA陽性，S-100蛋白陰性であった．以上から腺様嚢胞癌と診断した．
